Odette by Irina Kolesnikova, known as the ‘Iron Lady’ in the ballet world, was both resolute and bewitching. Every muscle in her body was as light as a swan’s feather, and her eyes expressed the shift in character between the White Swan and the Black Swan.



“Swan Lake” is the ballet where the presence of Kolesnikova, the Prima Ballerina, was particularly outstanding. Her performance was so steady. Her feet curved like a bow supporting her entire body.



Every single movement of her upper body was made with great care. Dynamically moving arms, back muscles, and expression through her eyes were literally the best.
